Special Art Workshops

Seasonal, technique-focused, and special-interest workshops at our Cary studio.

Workshops are shorter, one-time art classes focused on a single project, technique, medium, or theme. You sign up ahead of time, but they work like drop-in classes — you pay once, and there’s no requirement to be a current student or otherwise affiliated with the studio. Age requirements vary by workshop, with ages 3 and up typically welcome.

Wonderful Winter Landscapes in Watercolor

In this two-hour workshop, artists created a peaceful winter landscape — trees, snow, and a calm, colorful sky — while learning the full watercolor process from preparing the paper and planning the composition to adding the finishing touches. Open to ages 8 and up, including adults, with no prior experience needed. All supplies provided.
